چکیده

We examined effects of adding brief (1 second) lags between trials in a task designed to study errors in interrupted sequential performance. These randomly occurring lags could act as short breaks and improve performance or as short interruptions and impair performance. The lags improved placekeeping accuracy, and to interpret this effect we developed a cognitive model of placekeeping operations, which accounts for the effect in terms of the lag making memory for recent performance more distinct. Selfreport data suggest that rehearsal was the dominant strategy for maintaining placekeeping information during interruptions, and we incorporate a rehearsal mechanism in the model. To evaluate the model we developed a simple new goodness-of-fit test based on analysis of variance that offers an inferential basis for rejecting models that do not accommodate effects of experimental manipulations. & 2014 Elsevier Ltd. Presenting a New Model for Bank’s Supply Chain Performance Evaluating with DEA Solution Approach

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a method for measuring the efficiency of peer decision making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. The traditional DEA treats decision making units under evaluation as black boxes and calculates their efficiencies with first inputs and last outputs. This carries the notion of missing some intermediate measures in the process of changing the inputs to...

Chronic heterogeneous sequential stress increases formalin-induced nociceptive

Abstract Introduction: Chronic heterogeneous stress may be better for evaluation of the effect of chronic stress situations on the nociceptive behaviour. The present study investigated the effects of chronic heterogeneous sequential stress on thermal-induced nociception and formalin induced pain behavior in rats. Methods: In the present study, adult rats (220-300 g) were used. Animals were ...

ارایه مدل ارزیابی عملکرد نیروی انسانی با استفاده از سیستم استنتاج فازی (FIS)

Human resource performance assessment is an important part of human resource management and the core of performance management. However, reports of performance appraisals by supervisors are usually archived in employee records, and this often questions the credibility of assessors and the evaluation process. In terms of management, in the process of evaluating performance, valuable time needed ...

Two comparative MCDM approaches for evaluating the financial performance of Iranian basic metals companies

Due to the increasing competition and the continuous changes in current business environments, appropriate evaluation of the companies' performance is a useful tool not only for themselves but also for their own investors and creditors. In this paper, a model is presented for evaluating the basic metals producing companies. The proposed model based on analyzing the financial ratios is a combina...

A multi-objective resource-constrained project scheduling problem with time lags and fuzzy activity durations

The resource-constrained project scheduling problem is to find a schedule that minimizes the project duration subject to precedence relations and resource constraints. To further account for economic aspects of the project, one may add an objective of cash nature to the problem. In addition, dynamic nature and variations in real world are known to introduce uncertainties into data. Therefore, t...
